Inspiration for this initiative comes from P.M. Forni’s book Choose Civility: The Twenty-Five Rules of Considerate Conduct and the Stanislaus County Office of Education. Kathy Northington, County Superintendent of Schools, has been out in the community speaking with groups about the “Choose Civility” initiative. If you would like Kathy to speak at a meeting or group of people, please contact Calaveras County Office of Education.
If you have a business and would like to partner with CCOE on this project, or you would like to support the initiative through financial support you can contact Sharon Ciccone at 736-6013 or firstname.lastname@example.org. ( Posters are available upon request.)
