Welcome to the Personnel Services Department of the Calaveras County Office of Education. We are here to assist those currently involved in education as well as those who may be exploring careers within school settings.
The goal of the Personnel Department is to provide leadership, expertise and relevant assistance to the Calaveras County Office of Education, School Districts and programs, employees, and to the general public in all areas of school employment. Key services, technical expertise, and assistance that we provide includes staffing, classification, and compensation, labor and employee relations, state and federal compliance, records management, employee database management, performance management, advertising/recruitment, assistance with selection in the hiring process, paraprofessional examinations, substitute services such as credential applications, LiveScan fingerprint services for teachers, paraprofessionals, and volunteers serving in schools and programs throughout Calaveras County, and credentials monitoring to ensure teachers and administrators have current credentials and are working within their areas of authorization.
The Personnel Services Department’s mission is to serve Calaveras County students by maintaining a high standard of excellence in hiring, promoting, and retaining the most qualified staff for all CCOE vacancies, ensuring qualified teachers and classified personnel serve the students of Calaveras County.
