Child Development Program
The Child Development Program includes both the Extended Day Program and Building Bridges Preschool. The goal of the program is to provide enrichment activities in a safe and fun environment while serving child care needs. We provide an atmosphere rich with experiences in art, science, cooking, nature, manners, and healthy social interaction. Each site uses positive methods to ensure a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate care setting. Site Supervisors are responsible for the day to day management of their site, which includes supervising children, creating and implementing children's activities, daily communication with parents, school personnel, and supervising staff. The program shall reflect the children's individual and group needs. A wide variety of activities shall be available to the child during the course of the day. Children have the freedom to choose among several activities at any given time of day. Above all, the physical, mental and emotional well being of all enrolled children shall be safeguarded by the program and its employees.
