Columbia College, Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools, and Calaveras County Office of Education are teaming up to bring bachelor’s degrees to Tuolumne and Calaveras County!

Calaveras High School (CHS) students and young people across California got up very early in the morning on October 8, bundled up, and stood on street corners with pens and clipboards in hand.

Over 120 kindergartners from all over Calaveras county participated in the event called the Teddy Bear Clinic over the course of three days. Students are rotated in groups to twelve different stations.

Marilyn (Mourning) Krause, a longtime resident of Mokelumne Hill, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, at the age of 80, after a brave battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones and went on her way peacefully.
